Sacred (giclee print)
This piece talks about how eagle feathers are handled by the Hopi Nation. It is their way to take the whole bird as they are used in their ceremonies and regalia.
What feathers are not used are given back to the Earth by putting them in the trees. You will see faces within the branches representing the medicine person and an eagle. The Hopi Mesa sits in the background and beyond the Sacred Mountains. The golden eagle honors the elders and keepers of the traditional ways.
